Hi. I’m Samantha Rosenthal. I am Associate Professor of History, Coordinator of the Public History Concentration, and Co-Coordinator of the Gender and Women’s Studies Concentration at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. In 2024-2026 I will be the Visiting Associate Professor of American History at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. I am co-founder of the Southwest Virginia LGBTQ+ History Project.
