As a consultant, I bring nearly twenty years of professional experience working with diverse organizations on creative arts and humanities-based projects. Just a sampling of recently completed projects include working with a university on institutional LGBTQ+ historical research, and advising a national public television program on transgender content.
As a professionally trained oral historian, I have experience conducting oral history projects on behalf of institutions, as well as guiding individuals and institutions through their own oral history projects. From ideation to completion, I can help you conduct interviews to capture the stories of your community.
I can also assist organizations in conducting research, engaging with new audiences, and collaborating with underserved communities (especially LGBTQ+), as well as developing innovative programming to reach new audiences. I offer advice on content creation for reaching LGBTQ+ audiences through the web, social media, radio, television, and film.
If I can be of assistance to your organization, please contact me for a free initial consult. In our first meeting, I will ask you to explain your organization’s needs, and I will give you my honest answer as to what services I can (or cannot) provide to meet those needs, as well as an estimate of any fees. I look forward to hearing from you!
